Welcome to Courier Uncle. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Courier Uncle website and services. By accessing or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our services.
1. Services
Courier Uncle is a technology-enabled logistics aggregation platform that facilitates shipping, courier, fulfillment, reverse logistics, and related services by connecting business merchants with independent third-party courier partners across India.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under applicable laws. If you access or use our services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are duly authorized to bind such entity to these Terms.
3. Merchant Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date shipment and business information.
- Ensure that all shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Properly package all shipments to prevent damage during transit.
- Not ship any prohibited, hazardous, counterfeit, illegal, or restricted items.
- Pay all applicable shipping charges, taxes, duties, and other fees.
- Comply with the policies and operational requirements of Courier Uncle and its courier partners.
4. Prohibited Items
Courier Uncle reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any shipment containing prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to explosives, firearms, ammunition, narcotics, hazardous chemicals, live animals, currency, precious metals, counterfeit goods, or any item prohibited under applicable law or courier partner policies.
5. Pricing & Payments
Shipping charges are determined based on the selected courier partner, shipment weight, dimensions, destination, applicable surcharges, and taxes. All payments must be made in accordance with the applicable payment terms. Courier Uncle reserves the right to revise pricing, fees, or service charges at any time without prior notice.
6. Shipment, Delivery & COD
Delivery timelines are estimates provided by courier partners and are subject to operational conditions. Courier Uncle does not guarantee delivery within any specific timeframe. Cash on Delivery (COD) remittances shall be processed in accordance with the settlement timelines and policies of the respective courier partner.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Shipment cancellation requests shall be governed by the policies of the respective courier partner and may not be accepted once a shipment has been picked up or dispatched. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in accordance with Courier Uncle's Refund Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
Courier Uncle operates solely as a technology platform facilitating logistics services through independent third-party courier partners. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Courier Uncle shall not be liable for any delay, loss, damage, theft, non-delivery, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from the acts, omissions, or services of any third-party courier partner.
9. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, trade names, logos, software, content, graphics, designs, text, and other intellectual property available on the Courier Uncle website are owned by or licensed to Courier Uncle and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
10. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how Courier Uncle collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
Courier Uncle reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any revised Terms will be published on this website and shall become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
